Agreed. Telling persons what they’re clicking on right before they click can make them more of an experienced guide than duping them into clicking a mystery hyperlink.

I agree with this totally, alas the effects of my split assessments will not. I operate Google Optimizer on each my consumer’s and my own websites – soon after switching a button from “Acquire” to “Click Here to order”… the conversion charge generally goes up.
My most important pet peeve are things that activate simply by mouseover, and I would like to diasable mouseover triggering solely in the shopper/browser side.
